About Dr. John Jain

I am a fertility specialist who believes you should have the ultimate freedom and options when it comes to starting a family. I’m someone who believes in empowering women to take control of their fertility and assist in making the decision that can greatly impact their lives.

You may be among those who feel pressure from having to choose between a career and a family. You may want to pursue advanced degrees before thinking about having children. Or maybe you haven’t met the right person to start a family with and you want to wait until you do. Or you may be one of the 50,000 reproductive aged women diagnosed with cancer every year and you’re seeking a way to preserve your dream of starting a family after your cancer treatments are completed.

Some of you may not agree with this medical breakthrough that I can provide, but I think everyone should be educated and be in-the-know about egg freezing. I hope that you will continue to visit me on WordPress as I write about what egg freezing is, details of the procedure , update on the continual advances in egg freezing and other fertility treatments, as well as provide answers to questions you may have.

I have been on the shot for 3 months and am looking to get pregnant. Although I hear nothing but horror stories about the shot. I was wondering if you were to take fertility drugs if it would help speed up the process. If not is there anything I can do, such as home remedies to clean it out of my system. I am finding it rather disappointing that it could take up to a year plus before I can become pregnat. Please help me out. Thanks Paige.

We were one of your patients back in year 2000. After 7 years of marriage and frustrations of not having a baby, a friend of ours told us about you. And thank God with all your help and all your staff we were blessed enough to have a BABY GIRL, and the best thing is that after conceiving her through Artificial Insamination, we were once again blessed with two more girls in a matter of three years.

I still am so thankful, and I am referring a good friend mine to come and see you. Hopefully you can also do your best to help her. Thanks again. Cristina

Good morning Dr. Jain, I have married to my wife for four years and we been trying for six years already. I already have one 19 year old boy but my wife does not have any kids. We went to a fertility center and found out that she had endometriosoes and most of it was removed by the fertility center. And we have tried two times invitro-fertilation but with no results. She produces eggs but once my sperm starts developing inside here and they get to 7 to 8 splits inside the eggs they stop developing. Just to make sure I also had test on my sperm and testicles and everything was ok with me. But my is such a wonderful person and so am I and we would really like to have children especially for her. As an Expert in your field can you answer why does the eggs stop developing in side of her and also the eggs that we leave to get frozen also stop developing?

–had an laparocopic endometry, last month Sep 2008.
–Dr prescribe FEMARA for my next cycle and said will be followed by Insemination. He also said he gonna give me gonadotropins.
Since I am struggling a lot, I am ready to expose myself for multiple pregnancies. I would like to have maximum 2 shot of gonadotropins..

My question is,, Is it possible for someone to have 2 injection of gonadotropins ??
